At Canan Valley Foundation, our commitment to community extends beyond the classroom. For years, we have walked quietly alongside families affected by chronic kidney disease — a condition that has touched our own lives and deepened our understanding of what it means to serve.

We identify patients at critical stages of kidney disease, including those undergoing dialysis and those who have received transplants. For transplant patients in particular, the journey does not end in the operating theatre — ongoing medication, monitoring, and support are essential to survival and quality of life. We assist where we can, ensuring that financial limitations do not become the reason a life is lost.

This is not a programme. It is a commitment — personal, ongoing, and without condition.

Canan Valley Foundation has donated dialysis machines to hospitals serving patients with chronic kidney disease. For these patients, consistent dialysis access is survival, not comfort.

This is a direct extension of our longstanding commitment to kidney care — ensuring that the absence of resources never costs a life.

The Foundation has contributed financially toward the construction of old age homes — spaces of dignity and belonging for the elderly.

We believe honouring those who have lived and laboured is not optional. A community is only as strong as its care for the most vulnerable at both ends of life.

In partnership with the Church, Canan Valley Foundation has made a substantial financial contribution toward the construction of an orphanage — a permanent home for children who need stability, care, and the chance to grow in dignity.

We believe that education and compassion are two sides of the same calling. Building futures means caring for the most vulnerable among us, not only those who walk through our school gates.
